Our tireless Board of Directors works to enhance opportunities for Mongolian nurses across the country.

President
B. Enkh-Ochir, RN, BSN
Enkh‑Ochir B. Sanz is an experienced float pool intensive care nurse at INOVA Fairfax Hospital with nearly a decade of practice across intermediate care, medical‑surgical units, PACU, pre‑operative leadership, and intensive care during the COVID‑19 pandemic. Her work across five hospitals in the DMV area, along with experience as a travel nurse, has shaped her into a highly adaptable and skilled critical care professional. She is the founder of Medical Training LLC, where she provides American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, AED, and BLS instruction, and the founder of Lantuun Dohio, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preventing child abuse and human trafficking. Her leadership and advocacy were recognized with a 2018 Virginia Nurses Foundation 40 Under 40 Honorable Mention. Outside of nursing, she trains and competes in Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu at Chantilly MMA Academy, maintaining the resilience and balance essential to critical care work.

Sainzaya Lee, RN, MSN FNP
Sainzaya Lee is an accomplished nursing professional with more than six years of experience in the healthcare field. Her clinical background spans acute medical‑surgical care and intensive care specialties, giving her a strong foundation in managing complex and high‑acuity patient needs. She earned her Master of Science in Adult‑Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University’s School of Nursing and Health Studies. Building on her advanced training, Sainzaya now serves as an Advanced Practice Provider in the cardiovascular surgery specialty at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She is highly regarded for her strong communication skills, clinical expertise, and the compassionate care she provides to her patients. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Sainzaya enjoys spending quality time with her children and family. She also loves traveling and exploring new opportunities that broaden her experiences and perspective.

Enja Gendenjamts, RN, BSN, CMSRN, MHA
Enja Gendenjamts is a seasoned nursing professional with 30 years of experience. She began her career as a bedside nurse in Mongolia and later advanced to become the Director of Nursing at the 1st Central Hospital. When nationwide licensing became mandatory for all medical professionals, she was selected by the Office of Health Accreditation and Licensing as the Graduate Nursing Education and Licensing Nursing Specialist—an acknowledgment of her expertise and leadership in the field. Although Enja initially came to the United States with the intention of studying Health Management, she discovered an even more fulfilling path in nursing. Starting as an assistant nurse in 2008, she steadily advanced her career and now serves as a Clinical Manager at a Home Nursing Agency while also working as a Medical‑Surgical nurse in the Medicine Department at Inova Hospital. During her time in the U.S., she earned a Master’s degree in Health Administration and became a Certified Medical‑Surgical Nurse. Outside of her professional roles, Enja enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and playing volleyball. She firmly believes that nurses are educators at heart. To her, nursing carries the responsibility of guiding individuals and communities toward healthier lifestyles. She embraces lifelong learning, recognizing that every shift offers new opportunities to grow. Through sharing knowledge and learning from others, Enja believes nurses can continue to strengthen their expertise and elevate the profession.

Namuun Clifford, MSN, RN, FNP-C
Namuun Clifford is primary care nurse practitioner with over 14 years of clinical experience and a PhD candidate at The University of Texas at Austin. Her research focuses on precision digital health approaches to improve self-management and outcomes for individuals living with chronic conditions. She is passionate about leveraging technology to make healthcare more accessible, equitable, and culturally responsive. Namuun is also the co-founder of the Mongolian American Health Institute (MAHI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the health and well-being of Mongolian American communities through research, education, and community-based initiatives.

Tsolmon Damba, RN, BSN, CMSRN
Tsolmon Damba is a dedicated medical‑surgical nurse with over six years of bedside experience at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Throughout her career on the medical‑surgical unit, she has provided compassionate, high‑quality care to patients during some of their most challenging moments. In addition to her bedside role, Tsolmon has spent the past two years working as a virtual nurse for her unit. In this position, she supports bedside nurses by managing patient admissions, discharges, and education, helping streamline workflow and enhance the overall patient experience. For Tsolmon, the most meaningful part of nursing is the genuine gratitude she receives from patients whose lives she touches. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and embraces a mindful approach to life—focusing on the present and cherishing the people around her.

Vice President
Tsolmontuya Prendergast is a Registered Nurse with five years of experience in telemetry and medical‑surgical nursing, along with an additional year in oncology. She currently works as a float pool nurse, providing care to adult patients across multiple medical‑surgical and telemetry units. Her ability to adapt quickly to different specialties and patient needs reflects her strong clinical judgment, versatility, and commitment to high‑quality care. Tsolmontuya takes great pride in supporting patients through some of their most vulnerable moments and ensuring their comfort throughout their hospital stay. Delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care is her highest priority, and she is dedicated to creating a positive experience for every patient she serves. She finds deep fulfillment in the genuine gratitude expressed by patients and their families—an affirmation that continually strengthens her passion for nursing. Outside of work, the most precious part of her life is the time she spends with her children. She cherishes the opportunity to connect with them, watch them grow, and create meaningful memories that will last a lifetime.
Tsolmontuya Prendergast BSN, RN MED-SURG BC, GERO-BC

Odontuya Dovdon is an experienced healthcare professional currently working as an allergy specialist at an immunology and allergy clinic. She began her medical career in Mongolia, where she earned a nursing degree and later completed medical school at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences. Before moving to the United States, she practiced as an obstetrician‑gynecologist at Urgoo Maternity Hospital. After relocating to the U.S., Odontuya obtained her nursing licensure and began her nursing career in 2008. Over the years, she has gained extensive clinical experience as a family nurse, wound care specialist, labor and delivery nurse, and post‑intensive care nurse. Following the completion of her Master’s degree in Family Nursing and obtaining her license to practice, she has been serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Odontuya’s diverse background and dedication to patient care continue to shape her work as a compassionate and knowledgeable provider.

Misheel Nyam‑Ochir, RN, BSN, is an experienced adult medical‑surgical and telemetry nurse who has spent the past three years serving as both a staff nurse and charge nurse at Reston Hospital Center. In her role, she provides high‑quality care to adult patients across a wide range of medical and surgical needs. Misheel has a particular passion for caring for surgical patients, finding fulfillment in supporting them through recovery and helping them regain strength and confidence. Beyond her clinical responsibilities, Misheel is actively involved in the Mongolian community, volunteering at cultural and community events whenever she can. Her commitment to service extends beyond the hospital, reflecting her dedication to supporting others in meaningful ways. In her free time, Misheel enjoys traveling and exploring new places, embracing opportunities to learn, experience different cultures, and broaden her perspective.
